Excursion to Krapina
On 5th April 2022, 3rd Year students from Gimnazija Vič went on an excursion to Krapina, a town in northern Croatia.
Our day began with a trip to the famous Krapina Neanderthal Museum. This was fascinating as we got to see many different fossils which were discovered in Krapina by Dragutin Gorjanović-Kramberger.
After about an hour, we went to another part of the museum where we learned how the modern human skull differs from that of our ancestors. We got to put our knowledge to the test at the end of the course by answering some questions.
Afterwards, we went to Zagreb for a pleasant stroll around the city before wrapping up the day and returning home.
