School exchange with the Netherlands

From 29 January to 2 February 2024, students from our second and third years had the pleasure of hosting our peers from the Het Goese Lyceum in the Netherlands. Over the course of four days, we embarked on a joint exploration of Slovenia’s cultural and natural treasures.

Our itinerary included a visit to the National Gallery, where we tried our hand at painting impressionist motifs. Our Dutch guests were impressed by the charm of Ljubljana’s historic city centre. The next day, we visited the Postojna Cave and spent the rest of the day on the Slovenian coast. On our final day together, the Dutch students sampled Slovenian honey at the House of the Carniolan Bee and indulged in kremšnita in Bled. In the evenings, we had fun together bowling, playing billiards, and going to the cinema. On Friday, it was unfortunately time to say goodbye, but not for long, as we eagerly anticipate our visit to their country, which is scheduled for March.
