Green STEM – Romania 2024

For this part of the project, we stayed in Câmpulung Moldovenesc, a small, remote town in northern Romania.

During our time at our partner school, we had the chance to join in with different lectures and classes that had been prepared for us. There was a wide variety of topics covered, including Artificial Intelligence, water pollution, and financial issues. All the themes were linked through their relevance to the environment and ecology.

As well as the activities in school, we were able to learn about and experience some different elements of Romanian culture. This included being able to explore the host town and chatting to local people.

The project was useful in letting us learn about the different topics and also showing us how things work in different education systems. We would like to thank the project mentors for making this visit possible.
