Physics in Advent 2023
Through the month of December, more than fifty of our first and second year students took part in the Physics in Advent event, an international science project in which young researchers have to carry out experiments and solve puzzles based around the idea of an Advent calendar.
This is always a popular project at our school as students enjoy the chance to demonstrate the skills they have while also learning new things about the world of physics.
We are happy to say that two of our classes, 2C and 2F, were given awards in the category for groups. In addition, special congratulations must go to Enej Lukman from 2D who received an award in the category for individuals.
As a way of marking these great results, those involved were treated to some chocolate cake which was served up by our school’s principal and the project mentors from the physics department.
