An Exchange with the Netherlands

From 12 to 17 January 2016, Gimnazija Vič hosted students and mentors from the Visser 't Hooft Lyceum from the city of Leiden in the Netherlands. The programme included an excursion to the Škocjan Caves and the Primorska Region and a sports day at Krvavec Ski Resort. The students also prepared prekmurska gibanica, a traditional Slovene dessert. Our guests were most enthusiastic about Krvavec, even though we did not have a lot of snow. The second part of the exchange (our visit to Leiden) will take place in May 2016.
